MINERALOGY MINERALOGY

An extremely rare mineral formed by the combination of aegirine (green) and orthoclase (brown). Discovered in early 1960s in Nundora, NSW, Australia. It’s a small deposit that was mined out very quickly, though there have been rumors of another vein discovered.

SOURCING SOURCING

These are from my supplier based in Western Australia. They source mine direct, and I hand selected each of these at the Tucson gem show.
